Didactic principles are the basis of every seminar and workshop. However, to be successful, they must be applied in relation to the aims and contents of their respective disciplines. In this introductory course for participants of the IPP Workshop Series, we will explore what it means to use didactic principles in Literary Studies before moving on to concrete examples of how and why certain methods can be applied to your course. At the end, there will be time to work on your own IPP-workshop and the didactic principles and methods you want to use there.

Many offerings of the Teaching Centre can be credited as working units in the basic certificate “Kompetenz für professionelle Hochschullehre” (Competencies for Professional University Teaching) of the Hochschuldidaktisches Netzwerk Mittelhessen (HDM).
