Abstract

Linear mixed effects models (LMEMs) in R are a well-established framework for analyzing hierarchical data across a variety of response types. This workshop covers the theory behind LMEMs and highlights their advantages over traditional methods such as t-tests and ANOVA. By the end of the workshop, participants will gain practical skills in pre-processing data for LMEM analysis, fitting these models to data with different structures and psychological response types, and interpreting and reporting the results.
