Workshop: Job Application Training (International Markets)
This workshop will address the most relevant aspects of job applications. It consists of four units:
- examining the relevance of hard and soft strengths in the application process
- focusing on different techniques to produce a good covering letter
- the differences between the German CV and an English CV are explained
- examples of difficult interview questions are shown and good answers to such questions are suggested and discussed

Trainer profile:
Simon Chaplin is an English native speaker from the UK with a first class honours degree from a British university and has over 30 years’ experience delivering training courses. He works as a freelance lecturer and trainer, delivering job application training courses in English for universities and also graduate academies including those in Berlin, Leipzig, Göttingen, Halle, Hamburg, Hanover and Heidelberg.
