Research interests

My research interests are in the area of nutrition ecology and ecoimmunology of European bats. I study the morphological and functional adaptions of insectivorous bats. In addition, I examine the host-parasite interaction “bat - wing mite” on the immunological level in regard to their evolutionary history.
