Dr. Herbert Stolzenberg Teaching Prize
Award for lecturers at JLU in four subject areas for outstanding teaching performance.
Proposals from the fields of law, economics, chemistry and medicine should be submitted to the president by August 15, 2024. You can also apply yourself.
Favorable expert opinions on the qualifications of the nominee from at least one JLU student council and at least one statement from the department or institute where the teaching was held explaining why the teaching performance was worthy of an award must be attached to the proposal. Evaluation results of the courses are also helpful. The proposal should also include the following:
- Résumé
- List of lectures conducted
- Publication list
The award is open to early career researchers who are in the late doctoral phase, the postdoctoral phase, or the habilitation phase (including W1 professorships).
Proposals and applications should be sent to the president of Justus Liebig University Giessen via the dean's office of the respective faculty.
