E-mail: dekanat@fb08.uni-giessen.de- The Dean's office manages the faculty and is in charge of those tasks which are outwith the jurisdiction of the faculty council. The Dean's office prepares and implements the faculty council resolutions. It negotiates agreements of objectives with the presidial board of the university and decides on allocation of funds for material and staff expenditure on the basis of structural and developmental plans and the facility agreements. The Dean's office is responsible for the organization of study courses and examinations and provides administrative support with evaluation procedures.
- The Dean represents the faculty within the university and externally.
- The Dean's office provides information on matters concerning the faculty as a whole.
